Whelen turned to Lounge Lizard to design and build a new website that displays its vast catalog of products to its users with organized ease while positioning Whelen as the global leader in the emergency warning industry.

Lounge Lizard user experience designers crafted a color-coded browsing system based on vertical market categories to make it even easier for Whelen’s customers to find what they are looking for. The responsive website also houses an overwhelmingly large number of resources and downloads for users to explore and learn about their products. The Whelen Website was also crafted around new brand messages that encapsulate the company’s global brand image and key value propositions that drive home that Whelen  produces reliable and powerful warning lights, white illumination lighting, sirens, controllers, and high-powered warning systems for Automotive, Aviation, and Mass Notification industries worldwide.

Information Architectural and navigation systems were designed to maximize content engagement and strong search engine optimization strategies were used for organic ranking of Whelen products. Smart direct response messaging was threaded throughout to promote distributers engagement. The new brand positioning has empowered Whelen to own their place in the market as a company dedicated to engineering innovative products that people count on when lives are on the line.
