Bring on the Brandtenders at Lounge Lizard, who started the UX/UI design phase with a brand strategy workshop. They knew immediately that ALT Systems would make the first impression they were looking for by using interactive and engaging elements, which are second nature to a media company.

The homepage shows a nod to analog film as blue, modern ribbons float and transform into the high-tech ALT Systems’ logo.
The entire website design for ALT Systems consisted of simplicity in a chaotic industry. Typography choice and layout options were chosen based on the company’s target audience.

When you work with an unimaginable number of media files, it’s easy to clutter your website if you don’t design intentionally and implement SEO best practices. SMPTE color bars add a design element that sits side-by-side to featured projects. A simple word cloud is a great way to show creativity while showcasing expertise and not overwhelming the visitor. And an entire page for the menu makes it extremely easy to see everything they are capable of!

The use of minimal color rotated modules, and the animation of elements make sure users don’t drift off while navigating their content-heavy pages. The use of movement keeps users on the page longer, driving interest and curiosity, not even realizing how much information they have consumed.
